Welcome to Ladygrove Primary School & Nursery

"Every day counts... every minute matters"

Message from Mrs J. Weichlbauer

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you are aware, we are only opening school to key worker children and other specific groups of children as identified by the government. During this time we are dedicated to providing you with as much support as possible to teach your children at home.

If you are a key worker parent/ carer or have a child which fulfils the criteria laid by the government, you can book a place in school by completing the below booking form and sending it to A member of the admin team will then get back to you. If this is your first time booking is as a key worker, we will ask that you provide proof of your role and employer.

Our school will remain open to key workers and children identified by the government unless we have to close on health and safety grounds. This information will be posted on the school website and council website and parents contacted via text and/ or e-mail if their child is booked in on that day. As a school if we are to close to key worker children or other identified children for any reason, we will work with the Local Authority to provide you a space at another school within the borough.

We know this is a daunting task and will be something that most of you will never have had to do. Our staff are working hard to ensure that the website is kept up to date with learning resources for you and your children. We have had to temporarily remove lots of images from the website to allow for this to happen. We suggest that you regularly check the resources that we are offering as we are trying to update them as much as possible.

We wish you and your family all the very best over this difficult time and all look forward to welcoming all of you and your children back into school as soon as it is safe to do so.

Stay safe and remember if you need to contact school at all during the close down, please e-mail the school e-mail address ( A member of the team will get back to you as soon as we can.

Thinking of you all.

We are very proud of our special school where we all encourage each other to try our best at all times. This is what some of us think...

"Our school is really enviornmentally friendly!" - Jacob (Y6)

"What I like about Ladygrove is that the teachers are kind and thoughtful" - Ella (Y5)

"We take part in lots of sports!" - Victoria (Y6)

"Our teachers push us to get better - that helps me think!" - Ashlee (Y5)

"I like coming to Ladygrove because it's really easy to make friends" - Ollie (Y6)

"Our school is the best!" - Rhianna (Y6)

The children have been showing their kindness by creating cards and gifts to send to the local care home.

Miss Reynolds and Miss Webb have been working hard on creating a wild flower rainbow to brighten up our field. Well done it looks amazing.
