Ladygrove Primary School

Admissions

We currently have 10 Primary age classes in school, the majority of which contain children of mixed year groups. Our standard admission number for each year group is currently 40 in all year groups except for our current Reception class which is set at 60. This means we can take 40 children in the majority of year groups in school.

Our school is currently undergoing a period of expansion. From September 2019, we will have a PAN of 60 for Reception and Year 1. A PAN of 50 in Year 2, 3, 4 and 5. Our Year 6 PAN will remain at 40.

We also have a school nursery class which can have up to 24 children currently. This provision will extend to 30 from September 2019.

If you wish your child to attend Ladygrove Primary, and they are of statutory school age (Reception to Y6), they need to contact the admissions team at Telford and Wrekin Council to request a place. The school cannot allocate spaces itself as this is coordinated by the local authority. Their contact details are: 01952 380903.

The below information booklet produced by the Local Authority contains information on how to apply for a place at our school.

If your child is due to start in a Reception or Nursery class in September 2019, and you are interested in visiting school, you can book a school tour via the admin office.

If you wish your child to attend our Nursery class, please contact school on 01952 388370 and speak to Mrs Riddell. This is because we manage admissions into Nursery ourselves. In cases of over-subscription to Nursery, we allocate places to siblings of children in school first, then to children in catchment area and then shortest distance from catchment.
