Assessment

At Ladygrove we follow the Cornertones Assessment system. Children in Years 1-6 are assessed and are then given a chronological age for their development. Their progress is then assessed termly. We use the Cornerstones' Arithmetic and Reasoning papers to support judgement for Maths, Reading and Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling. 
In Reception we assess using the Early Year's profile. Children are then assessed using ages and stages bands.
