PE takes place every Wednesday afternoon. Please bring both indoor and outdoor kit to accommodate our changeable weather.
Homework is due in on a Thursday and handed out on a Friday.
Homework will consist of:
Reading diaries are checked every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please make sure you hand your reading record in on these days to be checked. An additional break takes place on a Friday for children who read 3 times per week.
We also test spellings on a Friday.
Learning is exciting in Year 5/6! We make sure we use our school’s behaviour animals( resourceful squirrel, team ant, tough tortoise and wise own) to help us get the most out of our learning. Our learning is cross-curricular where possible and focuses on a learning theme, where we are able to make links across all of our subjects where possible. We also have a new Whole Class Reading text each term which we share together and is often linked to our topic. We believe, "If you read, you succeed!"
