Extended Provision

We offer clubs which extend the school day both before and after our normal hours. Full details can be found below:

Extended Day Policy August 2023

Breakfast club  7.30am – Start of the day

Our Breakfast club runs every day from 7.30 a.m. till the start of the school day. It is staffed by school staff, so the children are familiar with the adults who run it. During this session, children have access to a healthy breakfast and have the chance to play with their peers before the formal start of the school day. It operates from the main school hall.

The breakfast menu

• Toast and a variety of toppings (margarine, jam, marmalade)
• A selection of breakfast cereal (Weetabix, Rice Crispies, Cornflakes, Cheerio’s, hot porridge etc)
• A selection of fruit (apples, pears, bananas, oranges etc)
• Yoghurt
• A choice of water or no added sugar squash to drink.
Themed breakfasts are also available on special occasions such as pancake day. On days such as this, the breakfast menu will be extended.

The current cost of breakfast club is £3.00.

Ladygrove Hub Out of School Club 3.15pm – 5.45pm

Runs from the end of the school day until 5.45 p.m. Parents picking up after this time will be changed a late collection fee. The club is run by school staff, so the children are familiar with the adults.
It is operated within school grounds. Children are collected they will be collected at the end of this club by the out of school club staff. If your child attends an after school club, they will be collected at the end of this club by the Ladygrove Hub staff.

A snack is offered to children during the session. This is a snack and not designed to replace the children’s tea. The menu below indicates what the children may receive:

• Beans on toast
• Hot-dogs
• Crumpets
• Pasta

• Crackers and cheese
• A choice of fruit
• A choice of water or no added sugar squash to drink.

Ladygrove Hub offers three different sessions:

Long session: 3:15 – 5:45 £7.50

Short session: 3:15 – 4:15 (snack not included) £4.00

Short session: 4:15 – 5:45 (after a club, snack included) £4.50

After school clubs 3.15pm – 4.15pm

We offer a range of after-school clubs for children to attend that are indoor and outdoor clubs which are both PE and curriculum based. Examples include gymnastics, hockey, football, Arts and Crafts etc. These clubs change every half-term. They are delivered by a mixture of school staff and provide providers such as Airborne Gymnastics and Raw Zone Basketball club. Clubs run from the end of the school day to 4.15 p.m.. Children need to be collected from the school playground once they have finished their club.
